About Brick Roofing

Brick Roofing is a roofing contractor based in Brick, NJ, with more than 20 years of experience repairing and replacing roofs on homes and commercial buildings along this part of the Jersey Shore. Our work runs from a single cracked pipe boot to full tear-offs, flat roofs, metal roofs, chimneys, gutters and skylights.

We work on the houses that make up this area: ranches, capes and split-levels from the decades after the war, raised homes near the water, lagoon houses, second homes and adult-community units. Each comes with its own questions, and we would rather answer them clearly than rush past them.

Our Approach

We start every leak call inside the attic as well as on the roof, so the water is traced to where it really gets in before anything is priced. Then we tell you plainly whether the roof can be repaired. Replacement only comes up when the roof genuinely needs it, and we show you the photographs that explain why.

When we do write an estimate, it lists tear-off, decking, underlayment, flashing, ventilation and gutters as separate lines, so you can compare it with any other quote item by item. Damaged decking found after the old roof comes off is photographed and shown to you before it is replaced, at a per-sheet price already set in the contract. Our contracts follow New Jersey’s home improvement rules, including the three-day cancellation notice.

Shore conditions shape the details. We match shingle wind ratings to the design wind speed for the exact address, choose fasteners, drip edge and flashing for salt air near the ocean, the bay and the rivers, and name the metal in the estimate. Raised houses get their ladder or lift access, staging and debris control planned before the crew arrives, and roofs under solar panels have the panel removal and reinstall built into the schedule.

We also handle the paperwork side of roofing with care. In adult communities and associations, we check the master deed or bylaws first so you know whether the roof is yours or the association’s. After a storm, we photograph and write up the damage for your own claim and will meet the adjuster on site when asked.

For second homes, we can inspect and photograph the roof while you are away and send the report the same day. At the end of every work day, the yard, driveway and gutters are cleaned and the ground is swept with a magnet for stray nails.
